I planned to go to Manila International Auto Show (MIAS) last Thursday - the show’s first day. At around 5:00 P. M., I was already preparing to leave when my boss asked me to stay for an important meeting. So, I put off my plan. The following day - Friday, there was no meeting and I was able to go. I arrived at the venue at around 6:00 P.M. but the parking at the World Trade Center was already full. I drove out to park at the “Boom na Boom” parking area just across the trade center.
The show features new models from Mercedez Benz, BMW, Subaru, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Mitsubishi, Suzuki, Mazda, Cherry, Chana, and other car brands. There is also the show for the old, classic, and vintage cars. I have enjoyed watching these beautiful cars and the equally beautiful and sexy promo girls. Grrrr!.
I went alone; but at the show, I was able to see and meet some friends, who are also car enthusiasts. If you have not been to MIAS yet, the show is still up to Sunday, April 6, 2008, from 10 AM to 10 PM. Entrance fee is P50.00.
Here are some of the pictures I took:
